The history of the 31st Red Bull Dolomitenmann
At exactly 10 o’clock fell the starting shot for the 31st Red Bull Dolomitenmann. The weather conditions were perfect for the competition.
124 teams were making their way to the summit of the Kuhbodentörl. The Kolland Topsport Professional team was the favorite and the mountain runner of the team – Joseph Gray – had a perfect start. From Gogghütte till the finish at Kuhbodenthörl he had the lead. He handed over to the pilot Chrigel Maurer – a X-Alps winner. Second at the mountainrunning finish was Anton Palzer from the team Red Bull and on the third place finished Philip Götsch from Pure Encapsulations. In the air the pilot of Pure Encapsulations was able to overtake and handed over at Dolomitenstadion on the second place. Daniel Geismayr the biker of Kolland Topsport Professional had the lead from start till finish. Neither Tony Longo nor Alban Lakata were able to catch him. At Leisach Kolland Topsport Professional handed over followed by Pure Encapsulations and Red Bull. And after a tough race at the rivers Drava and Isel this was also the result after the finish.
The winner team of the amateurs is the Czech Team ODLO. On the second place is the Czeck Team ASS Brno Extrem Abuelo and on the third place the team Rad.Sport.Szene.
