Dolomitenmann Paragliding

Due to a new order of Tyrol concerning the paragliding discipline of the Red Bull Dolomite Man, some changes in the reglement and additional orders can come up. Unfortunately, we have not yet obtained these new orders, therefore possible changes will happen short term. This is not within the discretion of the sports club Dolomite Man and can therefore not be influenced. In case of any change of the reglement or additional orders we will inform you as soon as possible! Thank you for your understanding!

You should fly a parachute with a minimum glide ratio of 7.3! You have to use a GPS-DEVISE the whole track. This devices have to be presented after the race to the marshals along with the necessary cables. You have to use our own GPS Device!!

Flight: after crossing the flank, you are going to see the landing zone in Leisach

Landing: finish landing place at the footballground Leisach (714 m) surrounded again by trees. Lee area if winds are heavy! There are lots of circuit lines outside the wood area – so take care if landing outside. After landing you have to run to the take over point with your paraglider (about half a round in the stadium) – Distance: 2nd take off > landing place is about 1,9 km as the crow flies.

Additional landing zone: if there is a lot of traffic or a lot of wind, the athletes have to use the additional landing zone close to the original landing zone. From there, you have to run with (!) your paraglider to the finish line!
