Mountain-Running

Start: Lienz, Mainsquare (674 m) - Finish: Kühbodentörl – Dolomite Alps (2.441m) Distance: about 12 Km – Difference in altitude: 1.767 m

Track:

Lienz Main Square (674m) – Bridge „Draubrücke“ – „Rechter Drauweg“ – „Amlach – Waldschenke“ (677m). A flat track on asphaltic roads. Distance about 3 km; Difference in altitude: 3m.

After a flat, 80m way on grit the track leads to the “Goggsteig”. A very steep ascent on a rocky way. Distance about 900m; Difference in altitude: 360m [1st refreshments station]

Along a flat forest trail to a track called „Franz Lerch Weg“ (the right way) which is also a flat way (forest underground). Distance about 1,6km; Difference in altitude: 50m [2nd refreshments station]

After the bridge „Klammbrücke“ you have to take the left way called „Kerschbaumer Alm-Weg“. (gravel way). This way will lead you to a small brook „Hallebach“. Distance about 2km; Difference in altitude: about 300m [3rd refreshments station]

Short before the brook “Hallebach” you will find on the right side a small track. This track is very steep. Distance about 400m; Difference in altitude about 200m [4th refreshments station]

Then along a gravel way up to the top called “Kühbodentörl” on 2441m. Distance ca. 5,2km; Difference in altitude about 900m [5th refreshments station]
